Got the gel pad for the wife for two reasons, firstly the seats on my BMW R1100RT are the worst in the world - absolute rubbish in fact BMW should be ashamed of themselves.
Secondly the wifes arse is her best feature (that does not sound very complimentary - hope she does not read this) so it needs looking after - so far so good, she is quite pleased with the pad, I think however that Airhawk cushins provide better comfort and value for money, they are also much lighter, I was surprised by how much the gel pad weighed.

I took a gel seat to India, for 14 days, covering approx 200k every day, man was I glad i did, my bottom was as good as when we started, fantastic buy,

Used on trip from nottingham to The ACE Cafe London 120mls. Non stop ride there very comfortable on Deauville seat but this made an improvement, although needed slight adjustment to get further back. Stopped twice on the return journey so couldnt tell if there was an improvement. No signs of cheek soreness or lower back ache. Good Buy

item found to be very well made and a good fit on my cbf 1000,not gone on a very long ride but found it comfortable so far.thank you for prompt delivery
