I love my Africa Twin but the seat gets uncomfortable for me after 100 miles or so.I needed to use the bike to see my folks in Manchester, a 420 mile journey from where I live.Apart from getting the original seat re-done or spending a fortune on a Corbin seat I had a look on the net and saw this Airhawk. The reviews for the gel-pads didnt fill me with confidence and I needed to get something so I bit the bullet and ordered one off these.Delivery was swift and the quality is good.I blew it up [just by mouth] as hard as I could,it fitted the seat well even though the A/T seat is a difficult shape to fit.Just to be on the safe side I cut some high density foam and covered it in gaffer tape and slipped it under the Airhawk. Result 420 miles,2 fuel stops of 15 mins each and 7 1/2 hours in the saddle and at the end my bum still wasnt sore.I highly recommend this seat. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a product on any website so it must have impressed me! Return journey 6 days later same result.

Bought for trip to Germany last year, well worth adding to your touring kit, easy to fit, did roughly 300 to 350 miles per day without any numb bum.

Arrived after 3 days from point of order via the internet and fitted this to my Moto Guzzi Stelvio in less that 5 minutes. Great product that makes the long journeys more enjoyable, if that is at all possible! Would highly recommend.

I purchased one of these for a tour of Scotland on my FZ6. The seat is fine for commuting but seems to give out after an hour and become really uncomfortable.
I couldnt afford the Airhawk or a completely new re-upholstered touring seat, and I heard the gel seats werent up to much so this was the right choice.
Really easy to fit, just ties round your existing seat with the provided cords. Seems well made and hasnt punctured and I dont think it will.
However, is it worth it? At first thought it was a waste of money as I got the same numb bum after 100 miles, but I re-inflated it to the MAX it did improve. You must inflate these as hard as you reasonably can, after that I would say it helped.
I did 1200 miles over 4 days and Id say its not a cure, but it does help. If youre a serious tourer youve got a Pan or BMW or something comfy already, but if you want to make your normal bike comfy for longer, Id say go for an AirHawk if you can afford it (its approx. 3x the price).
However, this is not bad for the money and at this price point theres much else to choose from.
