M&P Direct and Ducati Cardiff to close Cardiff Store.
Relocation of all activities to head office in preparation for a new Swansea Superstore
Swansea, Wales – 25th June 2025 - Under new ownership M&P Direct, one of the UK’s leading motorcycle dealerships and eCommerce businesses for the past 40 years, continues to develop towards its New Swansea Motorcycling Superstore, and a completely re-imagined web and Ecommerce experience for motorcyclists.
Plans including a multi-brand and multi-activity super-store in new premises, with cafes, restaurants and associated retailers are already taking shape.
16 weeks after the new team took over the restructuring of M&P continues, with changes underway across the business.
Preparation for the Superstore
In preparation for the Superstore, all our motorcycling activities will be combining at the current Swansea base, in preparation for relocation to the new site in February 2026. This includes all our motorcycle brands, workshops, outfitters, in addition to the Ecommerce team and warehouse already in Swansea.
M&P Cardiff and Ducati Cardiff Closure and Relocation
Sadly this means that M&P Cardiff site will be closed, and all its activities moved to Swansea. The Cardiff store opened in 2019 and in recent years it has been the location for M&P’s franchises Ducati Cardiff, Royal Enfield, and the MotoGB range.
M&P are sad to announce some redundancies in the Cardiff team. We thank those affected for their service and dedication to our customers, and we will work with them to offer suitable equivalent roles in Swansea, or where those are not available to assist these great staff to find alternate employment.

Please note:
- Bike sales, orders collection and Service remain open at Cardiff until July 4th.
- We will phone all customers with outstanding orders this week, to plan together alternative shipping or collection arrangements when necessary.
- After July 4th all service and sales will continue from Swansea (Phoenix Way)
- M&P Swansea is planned to move to its new Superstore, only 2 miles from our current location in February 2026.
