Government MOT Advice - What you need to do.
"You do not need to do anything to extend your vehicle’s MOT expiry date if it’s on or after 30 March 2020. However, you must keep your vehicle safe to drive.
Your vehicle will be automatically given a 6-month MOT exemption. This will extend your current MOT expiry date by 6 months."
You must make sure your vehicle is safe to drive (roadworthy). It can be unsafe even if your MOT expiry date has been extended.
Ride safe and look after each other.
Due to government guidelines, we have followed advice and temporarily closed all retail stores in Cardiff and Swansea. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we must protect our customers, staff and their families.

All online stores will continue to operate as usual with deliveries being made daily. Please bear with us in these difficult times, deliveries may take a little longer as courier companies are also implementing their own procedures.

Our Customer Service team will be on hand to answer any urgent questions on email@example.com, or you can find us on Facebook where we will be sharing any updates.

19th March 2020
We fully understand that many of you will be concerned about the situation regarding the Coronavirus. It's fair to say that a lot of things are changing within the UK and we are all having to impose measures to help us cope.
At M&P Direct, our priority is to protect the welfare of our customers, employees and their families. We feel we can achieve this not only by monitoring and following Public Health UK guidelines and government recommendations, but also by putting in place our own measures to help combat the spread of COVID-19.
One step we have taken in this ever changing situation, is to set additional hygiene policies throughout the organisation, with awareness material throughout the building, cleansing products freely available, advice on self isolation and working from home; and regular cleaning of things that are touched frequently, such as door handles etc., to name but a few.
All at M&P are making every effort in trying to help limit the spread of this virus by taking as many precautions as possible, both at home and in the workplace. All of our retail outlets are open and operating as expected and we reach out to everyone to do their part in combating the spread too. If you are meant to self isolate or have any of the symptoms, please, for your own protection and that of others, stay at home. Don't forget, our online store is open 24/7 and you don't even have to set foot outside your door.
We are currently despatching orders daily, however we are governed by our chosen couriers, who also are experiencing restrictions and difficulties.
DPD have issued a series of bulletins that can be found here.
