With the replacement of a standard lead-acid battery with a lithium-ion battery JMT up to 5 kg in weight can be saved without significant effort.

Lead-acid batteries can be used only 30% of their capacity due to the specific properties,
while almost 100% of the capacity can be used in lithium-ion batteries.
For this reason, the lithium batteries for JMT versions of the same start power need only one third of the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery.
A uniform charge state of all cells is also ensured by a built-in processor ("Balancer").
The dimensions of the lithium-ion batteries using adapters correspond to the dimensions of the original lead-acid batteries.
The connections are identical, so the battery can be replaced without further adjustments in a few minutes.
Please note that only suitable for charging chargers are used, such as the JMP 800, JMP 4000 or the corresponding workshop equipment.
For fast charging, we recommend the JMP 30,000 per workshop unit. Thus, a lithium-ion battery to be charged again within 6 minutes to 90%.

Under no circumstances chargers may be used, trying to desulfate deeply discharged batteries 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before they begin the actual charge.
The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must be exceeded in any case. Risk of explosion.
The manufacturer guarantees a sufficient starting capacity up to -5 degrees Celsius.
JMT use lithium-ion batteries as the cathode material iron phosphate (LiFePO4) and use the lithium-polymer methods of manufacture.
This allows them to rise still explode in flames neither in normal operation.
